New and Returning in 2026

Are you ready to to be surprised with some fresh, new-to-you reads this year? If so, consider joining our brand new A-Book-A-Month Club. Soon we will post a link to an interest questionnaire. Fill it out and we will pick one surprise book each month, from our collection, for you to check out and read. We will let you know when you can pick up your first surprise read of 2026. We would appreciate it if you would fill out a book review form after you finish each book to let other readers know your thoughts on your surprise reads. #ABookAMonthClub #2026SurpriseReads

Details for our 2026 Reading Challenge for Adults are almost ready. Check back soon to get all the information. We are hoping to offer a Challenge for teens (13-17 years old) and for kids (9-12 years old) as well.

Ladies, 18 and older, are welcome to join us for Treasured Pages Book Club. We meet on Thursdays at 6:30pm. To find out out if there is still space available and learn more, please send an email to shannontobiaslibrary.com with "Treasured Pages" in the subject line.

We would love to host a Battle of the Books with 3 different levels.

Level One: For students finishing 5th-8th grade.

Level Two: For students finishing 9th-12th grades.

Level Three: For adults 18-years-old and older.

Potential kick-off would be sometime in March. Potential ending battle would be in July or August.

We may be offering an Enjoy the Classics Summer Class and, possibly, a Page Turners Writing Club Summer Class.

We hope to offer Book Tastings throughout the year for various groups. More details coming soon!
