Welcome to my information page about Read & Watch! I'm so excited for this class to start. I have gone through the book/movie list several times before settling on my final choices for this coming year. Every year, I struggle to decide on the best choices. I enjoy so many books and want to introduce my students to a variety of great books (and read a few new ones myself). With all that said, below is the book list for the 2026-2027 school year in Read & Watch! These are the copies of the books I would suggest acquiring (especially The Story of My Life), if you plan to purchase the books. You may want to check prices at Christianbook and Rainbow Resource as well. Please remember that all books should be unabridged.
Here is a link to the book list at Amazon.
We will be reading:
I also, eventually, hope to have links to reviews or information specifically about as many of the books/movies as I can, especially to alert you to possible content alerts. There are language items that may be concerning to some in (at least): The Best Christmas Pageant Ever and Cheaper by the Dozen. For the 7th-11th-grade students in Read & Watch, I feel that most items will be fine, otherwise I wouldn't have selected the books. I also know any language/content concerns will make great talking points. Remember, you may always reach out to me at: ceravalo.writes@gmail.com.

We are almost done with our new library space. We hope to reopen sometime in September. And plan to have a Reopening Celebration in September or October!
